The European Commission has started reviewing the volume of the antidumping duties in respect of pipe imports from Ukraine, manufactured by Interpipe.

“The claimant has provided enough evidence that the application of the current level of duties is no longer necessary”, the commission said.

The review can take up to 15 months.

In early July 2012 the EU retained the antidumping duties of 12.3-25.7% on the import of seamless pipes from Ukraine.

For UTIST the duty was set at 25.7%, for Niko Tube and Interpipe NTZ – 17.7%, for Dneprovsky Pipe Works – 12.3%, and for all other companies – at 25.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
