In March world pig iron manufacture decreased by 1.37% YoY, to 100.7 million tons.
According to World Steel, in 3 months pig iron output dropped by 0.56% YoY, to 290.875 million tons, with China still being the leader with 60.455 million tons produced in March.
Ukraine in March produced 1.678 million tons of pig iron and attained the 9th place, below 2.03 million tons produced by USA, but above 1.125 million tons produced in Taiwan. (Ukrainian metal)
