Kola Iron and Steel Company has started constructing a gallery to transport coal from the site of its processing directly to the pelletizing department.
At present the company transports this coal with the help of automobiles, which incurs some risks and demands considerable expenses.
The length of the conveyer will be 150 meters. The project is scheduled to be completed in December.
The construction of the gallery will allow the company to completely refrain from using automobiles in coal delivery and save over 12 million rubles per year. (Ukrainian metal)
