In February Ukraine produced 1.51 million tons of steel, down by 20% MoM.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, pig iron output dropped also by 20%, to 1.56 million tons, while that of rolled metal – by 23%, to 1.3 million tons.
In January-February pig iron manufacture, taking into account operation of works situated in the temporarily occupied regions in January-February 2017, grew by 6% YoY, to 3.49 million tons.
Steel output dropped by 5%, to 3.41 million tons, and rolled metal – by 7%, to 2.98 million tons.
