In January Chukotka Autonomous District mined 1.755 tons of ore gold, down by 7.3% YoY.
5 companies mine for ore gold in the district: 2 of Kinross Gold, Mayskoye LLC, Rudnik Karalveyem and Rudnik Valunisty LLC.
Alluvial gold season has not started yet – it is expected to commence in April-May.
Silver output dropped us well – by 20% YoY, to 9.593 tons.
Silver is mined by a Kinross Gold company, Rudnik Karalveyem and Rudnik Valunisty.
Last year the district mined 23021 kg of ore gold and 130.8 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
