In 2017 Severstal Distribution increased sales by 13% YoY, to 1.75 million tons.
The distribution network sold 16% of all steel produced by Severstal Russian Steel last year.
Revenue exceeded $1 billion.
Sales in Russia demonstrated the largest growth – by 18% YoY, to 890 thousand tons, with revenue preliminary at $515 million.
Sales to Europe totaled 730 thousand tons, up by 7% YoY, and revenue was $490 million.
Sales to Belarus and Ukraine grew by 14%, to 130 thousand tons, with revenue at $80 million. (Ukrainian metal)
