Elgaugol, a part of Mechel, in 2017 mined 4.2 million tons of coal, up by 12% YoY.
“We were able to increase output mostly thanks to the new machinery and the program of capital repairs. In 2018 we plan to increase output to 5.3 million tons. For this we will purchase new machines”, Mechel-Mining mining assets director Igor Khafizov said. (Ukrainian metal)
