The Baykaimskaya mine has started work on the new long face – No. 6.
Coal is mined with the help of Tiandi complex, which has shown positive results while operating at the long face No. 5. The machinery valued at 2.7 billion rubles was commissioned in August 2016. Since then the miners have yielded 2.2 million tons of coal.
The reserves of the new long face are estimated at 3.7 million tons, which is enough for some 18 months at the rate of 220-240 thousand tons per month. In Q4 the mine intends to yield 800 thousand tons of coal, with 2018 target being 2.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
