In January-October metal consumption in Ukraine increased by 18% YoY, to 4.37 million tons.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, 1.08 million tons (24.7%) were imported, up by 23.4%.
Imports structure changed this year. The flat rolled metal dominates the imports with the share of 58.4% against 64%, while the share of long rolled metal increased from 34.3% to 40.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
