In 2017 exports of rolled metal changed.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, the share of semi-finished products fell from 44% to 40%. Flat rolled metal share increase from 28.9% to 35%, while that of long rolled metal dropped from 27% in 2016 to 24.5%.
In January-October Ukraine exported 78.3% of the rolled metal produced – 11.86 million tons. In 2016 rolled metal exports totaled 84.1%.
The EU countries are the main importers of Ukrainian metal with 32%, followed by the Near East (14.8%) and other European countries including Turkey (14.6%). (Ukrainian metal)
