In January-October Ukraine exported 385.76 thousand tons of scrap, up by 60.6% YoY, valued at $92.08 million, up 2.2-fold.
According to the State Fiscal Service, in October scrap exports totaled 64.656 thousand tons, in September – 64.336 thousand tons, in August – 68.729 thousand tons, in July – 57.073 thousand tons, in June – 29.106 thousand tons, in May – 36.151 thousand tons, in April – 27.038 thousand tons, in March – 20.889 thousand tons, in February – 7.676 thousand tons and in January – 10.106 thousand tons.
The main exports of scrap were to Moldova (48.69%), Turkey (46.94%) and Bulgaria (2.36%), while the main purchases were from Turkey (88.54%), Moldova (4.12%) and Russia (2.18%). (Ukrainian metal)
