In January-October Ukraine exported $6.92 billion worth of ferrous metals, up by 15.4% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 19.66% of the total exports against 20.58% in 10 months of 2016.

In October Ukraine earned $744.43 million from the exports of ferrous metals, up from $690.22 million in September.

At the same time Ukraine increased imports of ferrous metals by 39.4% YoY, to $940.15 million, with $120.49 million imported in October ($106.51 million in September).

Metal wares exports went up by 25.5% YoY, to $712.27 million in 10 months, with $82.32 million in October ($77.688 million).

Imports grew by 23.9%, to $654.27 million, with $74.27 million in October ($80.85 million). (Ukrainian metal)
