Severstal has chosen the supplier of the hot-rolled strip surface quality control system for Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
ISRA Parsytec GmbH will supply, assemble and commission four quality control systems.
“The investment project with the total value of over 180 million rubles is aimed at improving the quality of the cold-rolled metal surface, as well as decreasing shipping products with defects. The new equipment will increase defect finding to 95%”, Severstal Russian Steel CEO Vadim Germanov noted. (Ukrainian metal)
