Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works has chosen the supplier of equipment for the scheduled repair of the converter No. 1 in the converter shop No. 2.
The Boiler Equipment Works (the city of Beloretsk) will produce and supply the gas outlet equipment for the cooling boiler.
The repairs will start in H2 2018 and will last for 20 days. They will be combined with the scheduled repair of the blast furnace No. 5. The shut down of the machinery will not influence the annual steel output.
The cost of the project is some 110 million rubles.
At present the company operates 3 converters with the volume of 180 tons and 3 converters with 320 tons. In 2016 the combined output totaled 13 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
