Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has started modernizing the copper electrolysis shop.
The capacity of the new shop, to be commissioned in 2021, will be 230 thousand tons of cathodes per year.
Investments will amount to $60 million.
The work is divided in two stages: the first will have been commissioned by May 2020, and the second by December 2020.
The launch of the first stage of the copper electrolysis shop is scheduled for February 2021. (Ukrainian metal)
