In May, according to the Russian Railroads statistics, pig iron exports totaled 483.6 thousand tons, up by 19% MoM, but down by 9.4% YoY.
In January-May exports reached 1.93 million tons, down by 16.8% YoY and by 7% from the 2015 results, but up by 23.5% from 2013 and by 3% from 2014.
The main importer of pig iron was Italy (42%), followed by USA (30%) and Turkey (9.5%). (Ukrainian metal)
