In January-March Ukraine increased pig iron exports by 63.9% YoY.
“Since the start of the year pig iron exports have been demonstrating a positive dynamics, having increased by 63.9%, to 850.1 thousand tons. And exports have been growing each month: in January they totaled 233.6 thousand tons, in February – 291 thousand tons, and in March – 325.5 thousand tons. Because of the world pig iron prices growth, exports revenue increased by 91.6% YoY, to $282.7 million”, the state enterprise Derzhzovnishinform reported.
The main sales market for Ukrainian pig iron is the US. (Ukrainian metal)
