In January-April gold miners of Khabarovsk Krai yielded 4418.5 kg of gold, up by 0.5 tons of the target.
All the gold was obtained from ore deposits.
The region has also exceeded silver output – 18180.1 kg instead of 14240 kg planned.
According to the local environment ministry, the increase is the result of the qualitative management and sometimes higher precious metals content in ore. (Ukrainian metal)
