The selection of consulting companies that will help Kyrgyzstan sell Kara-Keche coal deposit has begun.

Applications for consulting services were received from Beyond Investment Group LLC, Deloitte & Touche, Mark Audit Bishkek, Industriel Electric Maden, Standard Development Consult, KPMG Tax and Advisory, and Ernst & Young.

The technical part of the proposals was revealed. After studying the documents, the tender commission will start considering the financial part. Then the winner will be determined.

Specific proposals came only from four consultants. Ernst & Young estimated the services at 72,673 million soms.

Beyond Investment Group, Industriel Electric Maden, KPMG Tax and Advisory submitted applications in paper format.

Financial proposals will be opened if the companies score the minimum passing grade on the basis of the study of the technical proposal.

The government of Kyrgyzstan decided to attract a consulting company to prepare and conduct the competition. The State Committee is ready to pay 76,357,930 soms.

Kyrgyzstan has already tried to sell the fields, but no one applied for the competition. The project is estimated at $2.5 billion. (24.kg/Ukrainian metal)
