Interpipe has supplied 3 thousand railroad wheels to the Saudi Railways Organization.
According to the company statement, the total number of the KLW brand wheels to be delivered is 14 thousand units.
Interpipe will produce and supply 3 types of wheels for railroad cars and locomotives with 838, 920 and 1046 mm diameter.
The company won the corresponding tender to supply wheels by spring 2017 last year.
In 2016 Interpipe decreased sales by 5% YoY, to 572 thousand tons, with pipe sales down by 10%, and wheel sales up by 22%. (Ukrainian metal)
