NLMK Group, an international steel-making company with operations in Russia, Europe and the USA, announces the appointments of Anatoly Khebnev as Vice President for Procurement and Dmitry Kolesov as Vice President for Maintenance.

The position of Vice President for Maintenance of NLMK Group is newly introduced. Dmitry Kolesov had been NLMK’s Director of Maintenance Planning and Organization since 2016.

Anatoly Khebnev has been holding the position of Deputy VP for Procurement at NLMK Group since 2012. Brijesh Garg was the VP for Procurement. He has moved on to the newly created position of Procurement Director at NLMK International, the holding company for NLMK’s international operations.

Oleg Bagrin, NLMK Group CEO, said: “In less than 5 years Brijesh Garg has managed to create one of the best procurement services in Russian Metals & Mining. Almost all key processes have been automated, we have initiated the centralization of procurement for global MRO categories and order-processing times have been reduced many times over. Brijesh will be responsible for carrying over the group’s successful experience to its international companies. Anatoly Khebnev in his new capacity will continue centralizing procurement, and, as a result, optimizing the company’s procurement-related costs. The introduction of the Vice President for Maintenance and the appointment of Dmitry Kolesov were motivated by the strategic importance of our goal of boosting the reliability of our equipment. In his role as VP for Maintenance Kolesov will be responsible for implementing leading-edge system for equipment condition management and further improving the efficiency of maintenance activities at NLMK Group companies.” (NLMK/Ukrainian metal)
