Soyedinitelniye Otvody Truboprovodov, a part of ChTPZ, has produced a trial batch of seamless offsets with 820 mm diameter and 12 mm wall thickness.
The new product could be used with pipelines of various purposes at the temperature ranging from minus 70 degrees C to plus 450 C.
Large diameter offsets have been made of the seamless billets produced by the Chelyabinsk Pipe Works of 09G2S steel. SOT intends to produce around 85 tons or 250 pieces of seamless large diameter offsets per year. (Ukrainian metal)
