In 2016 Interpipe increased its range of products for oil and gas industries by starting producing short reducers.

According to the company statement, reducers are used to get the correct length of casing or compressor pipes, when the standard pipe is not enough.

Now Interpipe produces 60.3-339.7 mm diameter and 0.6-5 m length short reducers with all types of threads according to API.

The company has already made trial supplies of the new products. Interpipe reducers have been supplied to Ukrainian and Turkish deposits. In particular, in Ukraine they will be used when tapping gas in Poltava region.

“Short reducers are in demand both on the local and export markets. For example, they are present in all major tenders on oil and gas pipe supplies in the Near East and Africa. So this is an additional service for our clients”, Interpipe finances and economy director Denis Morozov said. (Ukrainian metal)
