In 2015 ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih fired several dozens of employees, summoned to serve in the army. According to the Ukrainian legislation, such conscripts retain their work place and receive average monthly salary. And they cannot be fired according to the Labor Codex.

Some of the conscripts filed a suitcase as the company refused to employ them again. The court ordered AMKR to restore work to three employees. One of them has also been paid an average salary for the period of his service in the army. (Ukrainian metal)
