ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has announced the increase of salaries by 15% on average from May 1.
Depending on the current wages and labor conditions, the increase will amount to 5-22%.
The company has decided to pay a remuneration of 50% of average salary for 2024. It will be paid together with salary for March.
In 2024, the company worked under condition of economic and energy challenges. High energy carrier tariffs, delays in supplies due to Russian shelling and decrease of market prices for steel seriously hindered the company operation. Metallurgical capacities were loaded at 25-50% of prewar level, while mining department operated at 70% of capacities.
Despite the difficult situation, AMKR was able to increase manufacture of main types of products by 40-70% compared with 2023. (Ukrainian metal)
