Ukrainian prices for high-carbon 60% ferrochromium are stable – for the past two weeks local market prices were on the level of 40-42 thousand UAH per ton.
A trader reported the lack of stocks and a purchase of 27 tons of ferrochromium from India with delivery in mid June. In May he was able to sell less than 10 tons of high-carbon ferrochromium at 40 thousand UAH per ton.
Ferrochromium demand in Ukraine is low, so orders come from constant clients. In April the trader sold 20 tons of ferrochromium. (Ukrainian metal)
