In July Russia imported 2.8 thousand tons of ferrochromium, up by 97% MoM and 61-fold YoY.

Deliveries from Kazakhstan dropped by 3%, to 1.4 thousand tons. The same amount was purchased from Iran.

In 7 months ferrochromium imports totaled 15.4 thousand tons, up by 102% YoY.

In monetary terms since the start of the year the imports have increased by 40%.

Import prices dropped by 7%, to $1205 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
