In May Russia imported 2.3 thousand tons of ferrochromium, down by 5.7% MoM, but up by 117.5% YoY.

Deliveries from Kazakhstan decreased by 10%, to 1.4 thousand tons, while Iran increased supplies to 825 tons.

In 5 months ferrochromium imports totaled 11.2 thousand tons, up by 74.2% YoY.

In monetary terms since the start of the year the imports have increased by 21.3%.

Import prices in May dropped by 2%, to $1277 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
