In 2016 Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works (a part of NLMK) produced a record of 15.63 million tons of concentrate, up by 2.9% YoY.
Some 300 thousand tons of concentrate were used to produce pellets at the new factory with the capacity of 6 million tons per year.
Sinter ore output totaled 1.6 million tons in 2016, iron ore pellets – 0.28 million tons.
Last year the company sold 17.24 million tons of iron ore raw materials. In particular, 15.4 million tons of concentrate, up by 1.8% YoY, 1.6 million tons of sinter ore, down by 8% YoY, and 0.24 million tons of pellets, supplied to the Lipetsk site of NLMK. (Ukrainian metal)
