Russia: Stoylensky GOK output up in 2018

In 2018 Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works increased concentrate output by 8% YoY, to 17.4 million tons, having become the second largest producer in Russia.

Sinter ore manufacture totaled 1.5 million tons.

Pellets output was 6.7 million tons, up by 12%. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Stoilensky GOK to speed up ore delivery

Stoilensky Mining and Processing Works will optimize the delivery of the ore from the quarry to the processing factory.

In particular, the company will build infrastructure to decrease the railroad route by 5 km.

Russia: Stoylensky GOK gets newest drilling rig

A new drilling rig began operating in the Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works quarry.

It has been purchased under the renovation program to replace outdated machinery.

The efficiency of the new rig is 7% higher.

The new machine also boasts increased lifetime of 2 years and decreased terms of repairs. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Stoylensky GOK gets new technical director

Alexei Scherbakov has been appointed the technical director of Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works, a part of NLMK.

He will be responsible for improvement of the manufacture efficiency, technological processes and machinery, development of technical policy and technological development, as well as for reconstruction and technical modernization. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Stoylensky GOK gets new gyratory crusher from Uralmashzavod

The contract for the new gyratory crusher was concluded after the Uralmashzavod specialists checked the crushing machinery at the processing factory of the Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works.
