In Q 3 DTEK Energo mined 7.8 million tons of power-generating coal, up by 29% QoQ.
The increase allows the company to satisfy the growing needs of thermal power plants in fuel.
Coal output also increased by 10.5% YoY. Fuel demand increase in summer made the group review its plans on coalmining. So in H2 DTEK increased investments into G-grade coal mining companies by 55%.
In January-September DTEK Energo miners yielded 20.6 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
