Ukraine: pipe output down in January-February 2015
In January-February major Ukrainian pipe companies produced 141.3 thousand tons of ferrous pipes, down by 29.8% YoY. In February pipe output was on the level of 59.5 thousand tons.

In February Ukraine exported $57.66 million worth of steel pipes, while imports totaled $6.27 million.
In January Ukraine exported $66.91 million worth of steel pipes, with exports on the level of $5.09 million.
In January major Ukrainian pipe companies decreased their output of ferrous pipes by 10.1%, to 78.3 thousand tons, YoY. In December 2014 pipe output was 94.3 thousand tons, in November 2014 – 102.3 thousand tons.
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation into the import of 426 mm cold-rolled and hot-rolled seamless pipes of stainless steel produced in Ukraine.
In 2014 Ukraine produced 1396 thousand tons of steel pipes, down by 13.7%, or by 221 thousand tons, YoY (1617 thousand tons in 2013).
The European Commission is imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Belarus, China and Russia and terminating the proceeding for imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Ukraine.
In 2014 Ukraine exported $1094.98 million worth of steel pipes with imports on the level of $108.01 million.
