Following the Russian invasion, Metinvest Group has decreased the combined use of its enterprises by more than 40%.
The enterprises are located near the front line and inside the war zone, in particular in Mariupol.
The employees have to constantly hide in shelters due to air strike alert, while Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works employees wear bulletproof vests and helmets, as the plant has been shelled several times.
The SevGOK capacities are used at the level of 23%, CGOK – 83%, InGOK – 32% and UGOK – 24%. Exports are limited by logistics.
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Azovstal are destroyed. Zaporizhstal operates at 54% of its capacities, Kametstal – 74%, European plants – 75% and Unistil – 100%.
By-product coke plants operate at full capacity, except for Avdiivka Coke, which is in downtime. In particular, the capacities of Zaporozhkoks are 89% loaded, Dneprovskiy By-Product Coke Plant – 97% and Yuzhkoks – 98%.
Metinvest Pokrovskugol mines operate at a 100% capacity and UCC (USA) – 86%. (Ukrainian metal)
