In January-August Ukraine imported 12.98 million tons of coal, down by 8.3% YoY, valued at $1.83 billion, down by 7.5%.
According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied $1.09 billion worth of coal (or 59.81%), USA – $596.65 million (32.63%), Kazakhstan – $85.54 million (4.68%) and other countries – $52.64 million (2.88%).
At the same time in 8 months Ukraine exported 13.16 thousand tons of coal valued at $0.51 million, including $0.38 million to Moldova, $0.1 million to Hungary and $0.03 million to Poland. (Ukrainian metal)
