For the first time the ChTPZ group will supply large diameter pipes to OMV, the largest oil company in Central Europe.
The order is for 850 tons of pipes with the diameter of 508 mm and the wall thickness of 14.2 mm with three-layer polyethylene coating, as well as 1620 tons of pipes with the wall thickness of 11 mm.
All the pipes will be produced at the Vysota 239 shop of Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Works.
The pipes will be used for the repair of the existing and the construction of a new gas pipeline in Romania.
The first batch of pipes has to be shipped in October. (Ukrainian metal)
