Kazakhstani company Aidarly Mining intends to build a mining and processing complex at the Aidarly deposit in the Ayagoz district of Kazakhstan’s Abay region.
The project cost is $4.5 billion.
Construction of the complex is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2026, with commissioning scheduled for 2029.
The complex is expected to annually process up to 75 million tons of ore and produce up to 1.1 million tons of copper concentrate and up to 7,500 tons of molybdenum concentrate. (Logistan)
