In Turkiye, the company delivered 850 mm railway wheels for the HT 65000 passenger trains, which operated at speeds of up to 250 km/h.
YHT, a Turkish flagship train service, transports thousands of passengers every day. It has a rapidly growing number of routes that already covers western and eastern part of Turkiye.
For this batch, KLW utilized ER8 steel, Category 1, engineered specifically for high-speed rail applications. A critical requirement was maintaining a precisely controlled rim hardness range to ensure compliance with the most rigorous quality standards and production processes.
