In January, Ukraine decreased exports of ferrous metal scrap by 50.3% MoM, to 15.69 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, compared with January 2024, exports decreased by 8.5%.
Thus, exports have fallen to the minimum since May 2024.
The main customer was Poland, buying 15.47 thousand tons of scrap, or 98.5%. An insignificant part was exported to Germany.
Exports revenue fell by 52.4% MoM and by 13.2% YoY, to $4.41 million. (Ukrainian metal)
