Ukrzaliznytsia JSC is prepared to sell up to 20 thousand tons of scarp per month via the Prozorro.Sales from March, thus resuming stable scrap sales on Ukrainian market after an almost half a year break.
According to the company board chairman Yevhen Lyaschenko, Ukrzaliznytsia suspended scrap sales over normative changes.
“We are waiting for the Cabinet of Ministers to approve changes to the decree No. 1054, which will open opportunities to resume scrap sales,” he said.
“We have already prepared a large volume of scrap that we can auction. That’s around 20 thousand tons per month,” he added. (Ukrainian metal)
