At present there is no opportunity to launch Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, as a systemic work is needed, which envisages construction of an additional manufacturing line.
NGZ produces alumina for another enterprise located in Russia.
But the government has a plan, according to the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaliy Kim.
He believes the government has to take a decision to transfer the enterprise to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency with a further sale or transfer to the State Property Fund.
At the same time he noted, that without development of the maritime logistics, resumption of NGZ operation is impossible. (Ukrainian metal)
