Verkhovna Rada has approved in the first reading a draft law to prolong the moratorium to bankrupt state coalmines until January 1, 2025.
The draft was supported by 232 people’s deputies on December 9.
The accompanying note to the draft says the stable operation of the coal enterprises is important for providing energy security of the country in autumn and winter. (Ukrainian metal)
