In 2024, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih intends to increase the loading of its capacities from 30% to 50%.
“As the largest international investor in Ukraine and the largest mining and metallurgical enterprise in the country we are a reliable partner to Ukraine and contribute considerably to its economy during the war. Thus, next year we plan to increase our manufacturing volumes and capacity by operating two blast furnaces,” the company CEO Mauro Longobardo has said.
AMKR s also advancing on its path to become nature-friendly. The company has already shut down outdated capacities of the coke-oven batteries Nos. 1 and 2, as well as sinter factory. (Ukrainian metal)
