In August, Ukraine exported 1.22 million tons of iron ore to the European Union, up by 36.2% YoY. Revenue grew by 13%, to EUR 145 million.

Compared with July, exports went up by 3.6% and by 10.3% respectively.

In January-August, exports amounted to 9.27 million tons, down by 10.4% YoY, valued at EUR 1.09 billion, down by 24%.

The Czech Republic imported 2.8 million tons of iron ore, down by 8%, Poland – 2.2 million tons, down by 25.5%, Slovakia – 3.5 million tons, up by 9.7%, and Hungary – 218.4 thousand tons, down by 53%.

In September, the Czech Republic bought 466.7 thousand tons, up by 75.2% MoM and by 35.7% YoY, Poland – 280 thousand tons, down by 15.8% and by 12.5%, Hungary – 7.5 thousand tons, down by 50.6% and by 76.7%, and Slovakia – 347 thousand tons, up by 11.4% and by 91.5%. (Ukrainian metal)
