In February, Ukraine decreased iron ore exports by 21.4% MoM and by 3.3% YoY, to 2.46 million tons.
According to the State Customs Service, the main customer was China, accounting for 1.29 million tons, down by 24.8%. Slovakia purchased 264.63 thousand tons (-34.8%) and Poland – 416.28 thousand tons (+4.3%).
In January-February, iron ore exports decreased by 1.2% YoY, to 5.59 million tons, with China buying 3.02 million tons, Poland – 815.95 thousand tons and Slovakia – 670.28 million tons.
Export revenue in February amounted to $202.34 million, down by 18.1% MoM and by 21.2% YoY, and in January-February – $449.39 million, down by 18.7% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
