Kazakhmys has opened a selenium-refining and precious metal slag-processing shop.
The new Kazakhmys Progress LLC shop created 63 new jobs.
The capacity of the shop is 75 tons of raw selenium per year with the metal content of not less than 99%.
Slag processing capacity is 100-120 tons per month. The technique will allow extracting up to 15.39 tons of copper, 31.4 kg of gold, 5183 kg of silver, 500-550 tons of raw lead and 120-130 tons of antimony alloy per year. (Ukrainian metal)
