In April, Ukraine increased rolled metal manufacture by 12.2% MoM, to 487 thousand tons.
Pig iron output grew by 16.7%, to 544 thousand tons, and steel – by 8.9%, to 574 thousand tons.
Compared with April 2022, rolled metal production went up by 96.4%, steel – by 108% and pig iron – by 87.6%.
In January-April, Ukraine produced 1.51 million tons of rolled metal, down by 56% YoY, 1.81 million tons of steel, down by 54%, and 1.75 million tons of pig iron, down by also by 54%. (Ukrainian metal)
