Pokrovsk Mining and Processing Works supplies its manganese ore concentrate to the Nikopol Ferroalloy Works (NZF) only, as the Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant has almost suspended operation.

According to the company chairman Sergey Shuvayev, NZF needs products of the second sort only, that is why mostly the Northern quarry of PGOK operates.

PGOK suspended operation from December 1, 2022 due to the shortage of electricity following Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian energy system.

In April, operation resumed and sales grew to 45 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
