The government of Kazakhstan has prolonged the prohibition to export ferrous and non-ferrous metals scrap.
The export is prohibited by all transport means.
The ban was imposed to increase scrap deliveries to domestic metal companies, as well as to fight the illegal trade in scrap. (Ukrainian metal)
