Metinvest is implementing measures to decrease water and electricity consumption at its enterprises.
Thus, Metinvest Pokrovskugol transport department has launched an efficient water usage by using it twice. This not only saves resources, but also provides the uninterrupted operation of car wash during war.
Every morning all the transport means are washed. On average 100 cubic meters of water are used daily. Has it not been for the circulation system, the company would have monthly paid considerable amounts of money for the resource consumed.
Used water is stored in 4 underground reservoirs. While flowing from one to another, mud and sludge sink, and the water can be used again.
The reservoirs are cleaned once in half a year. (Ukrainian metal)
