In January-September, Ukraine decreased coal import 3.2-fold YoY, to 4.5 million tons.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms imports dropped by 27.1%, to $1.1 billion.
Russia supplied $430.16 million worth of coal (pre-war deliveries, the share was 39.02%), USA – $309.18 million (28.04%), Australia – $127.43 million (11.56%) and other countries – $235.77 million (21.38%).
In 9 months, Ukraine exported 642.2 thousand tons of coal valued at $191.3 million, including $115.99 million tons Slovakia, $47.58 million to Poland, $25.16 million to Hungary and $2.57 million to other countries.
In January-September 2021, exports totaled 4.98 thousand tons valued at $0.8 million. (Ukrainian metal)
